Caring for the Caregiver as Part of Dimentia Care: What works and where do we go from here?

The Dartmouth Centers for Health and Aging is hosting Dr. Laura Gitlin, a distinguished Professor from Johns Hopkins, on Friday, October 16th. She will give a talk entitled: “Caring for the Caregiver as Part of Dementia Care” from 12:00-1:00 pm at DHMC in Auditorum E.

Dr. Laura N. Gitlin, an applied research sociologist, is professor in the Department of Community Public Health, School of Nursing with joint appointments in Department of Psychiatry and Division of Geriatric Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. She is also the founding director of the Center for Innovative Care in Aging at Hopkins which is transforming health care delivery and the health and well-being of older adults and their families through rigorous research, trainings of health and human service professionals in evidence-based interventions and models of care, and translation and implementation of proven interventions in service delivery settings.
