Title: “Long-Lasting Impact of Adolescent Cannabinoid Exposure on Reward and Schizophrenia”

Speaker Bio: Dr. Khokhar completed his Undergraduate education at Queen's University (Kingston, Canada), specializing in neuropharmacology. He went on to complete his Ph.D. at the University of Toronto and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health working on the role of brain-expressed drug metabolizing enzymes in nicotine abuse as well as the actions of anesthetics and pesticides. He is currently a post-doctoral fellow working with Dr. Alan Green on medication development for patients with schizophrenia and co-occurring substance use disorders. He is also interested in how adolescent alcohol and drug use contributes to the risk for both schizophrenia and substance use disorders.
