Join the NH Alliance for Healthy Aging (AHA) for the next quarterly meeting on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with an optional lunch from 12:00 - 12:30 PM.
Anna Adachi-Mejia, PhD from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth will be presenting: Photovoice as a Method to Engage Older Adults of Color and of Language Minorities in New Hampshire. Dr. Adachi-Mejia will share the results of her photovoice study designed to inform diversity, inclusion, and equity in older adult health initiatives. In the study, “Photovoice: Using Photography and Words to tell Stories of Aging in New Hampshire,” older adult participants from Bhutanese, Hispanic, and African American communities living in southern New Hampshire describe their point of view with their own photos and words.
