NHANES (National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey)
Bio: Dr. Herrick conducts analyses with NHANES data on nutrition topics including anthropometry, obesity, dietary intake and nutritional biochemistries. She works closely with the NHANES Nutrition Monitoring Advisor, as well as collaborates with other researchers within NCHS (National Center for Health Statistics). She participates in planning research projects, merging analytic datasets, conducting data analysis, producing NCHS reports, publishing NHANES findings in scientific journals, and presenting NHANES data at professional meetings.
Dr. Herrick received her BA in Biochemistry and Psychology from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, her MSc in Public Health Nutrition from the University of London, and her PhD Nutrition and Health Sciences from Emory University.
